Boldstone Collection

   Our Boldstone line is created from high iron, ball clay which is
hand-pressed into a plaster molds. After drying somewhat in the mold,
the vessel is removed from the molds, hand-finished on a wheel. Next it is
fired with a white slip glaze. This slip glaze provides the pallet for the final
color glaze, which is applied after the vessel cools from the slip firing.
The vessel journeys throught he kiln for almoset 14 hours reaching cone
5-6 in the gas fired kilns. Some of the characteristics that this production
method creates are;

   The majority of the Boldstone line in our warehouse is imported from
China. We have found the glazes from our Chinese manufactures to be the
best we can offer our customers. Boldstone is our best selling product
line, accounting for the majority of our sales.
